About Me

Laie, Hawaii, United States
We are the Kamoes! I am Sadie, the wife to Ka'i and mother to Elsie. Our adventure started in Hawaii of all places when both Ka'i and I met playing soccer for BYU-Hawaii. Now we are getting ready to leave this chapter in our lives as Ka'i is graduating this month. We can't wait to see what our new adventure has in store for us!

Hide-and-Seek

Who here is good at hide-and-seek?
Have you ever tried to play it with shapes?
Hiding in your house right now are 5 different rectangles...your job is to search out these rectangles and draw them on a piece of paper. Race a friend to see who can find 5 different rectangles first!
Ready or not, here you come!!!
  • A rectangle is a four-sided polygon (a flat shape with straight sides)
where every angle is a right angle (90°).
  • Also opposite sides are parallel and of equal length.
Here is a clue of what a rectangle looks like:

Here is a video of a Sesame Street Character finding all sorts of shapes in his own room!

GOOD LUCK :)

Taste the Rainbow!

Hello kids! Welcome to my blog!

Colorful Activity for the day is to...
1. Take a good look at this picture of a rainbow
2. Think about different fruits that match each color you see
3. Make a fruit kabob (fruit on a stick) using each fruit you thought of
4. Starting with the first fruit on your stick, say out loud what color it is
5. Eat the fruit if you get the color right :)

Bonus: Out of the above instructions, which color of the rainbow is missing???
